Migrant Service Assistant

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, the direct supervision of the National Project Officer, the Migrant
Service Assistant will be responsible for providing effective and efficient assistance to beneficiaries of temporary protection and unlimited protection with a specific focus on the needs related to asylum seekers and family reunification and visa process.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education School diploma with four years relevant professional experience; or, University degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with one years of relevant professional.


Experience:
Proven experience in a similar setting & capacity. Experience in liaising with governmental, intergovernmental authorities and nongovernmental organizations would be considered an advantage. Experience working with migrants, refugees,
victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher. Previous work experience in international organizations and service industry companies would be an advantage.


Skills:
Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality in performing responsibilities. Strong interpersonal & intercultural skills with attention to detail. Languages Fluent in English (oral and written) is required. both writing and

Pay: 100.000 Kenya Shillings per month: 625 Shillings per hour.
