Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, the direct supervision of the National Project Officer, the Migrant Service Assistant will be responsible for providing effective and efficient assistance to beneficiaries of temporary protection with a specific focus on the needs related to movements from emergency accommodation to transitional accommodation settings.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Education School diploma with four years relevant professional experience; or, University degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional.

Experience:

Proven experience in a similar setting & capacity. Experience in liaising with governmental, intergovernmental authorities and nongovernmental organisations would be considered an advantage. Experience working with migrants, refugees, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher. Previous work experience in international organisations and service industry companies would be an advantage.

Skills:

Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality in performing responsibilities. Strong interpersonal & intercultural skills with attention to detail.
