Vacancy: Migrant Service Assistant
We are seeking an Migrant Service Assistant to provide effective and efficient assistance to beneficiaries of temporary protection with a specific focus on the needs related to movements from emergency accommodation to transitional accommodation settings.
Education
School diploma with four years relevant professional experience; or, University degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar setting and capacity. Experience in liaising with governmental, intergovernmental authorities and non-governmental organizations would be considered an advantage. Experience working with migrants, refugees, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups.
Skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and good knowledge of information technology. Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in performing responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills with attention to detail.
Languages
Fluent in English (oral and written) is required.
